Part of the Sunday morning session and all of the Sunday afternoon session of the October 2017 General Conference just got played on my phone and everything was equally as stirring as the first time when hearing it, proving that the spirit testifies whenever  truth is spoken. Well spoken words are my great appreciation as well as that the speakers thoughtfully prepared to uplift and edify all who heard them.

Listening to the October 2017 General Conference reminds me of 2004 and thinking back to that time reminds me of listening to General Conference CD’s on my way to work. At that time, the speakers uplifted me, strengthened me spiritually and somehow comforted me at an extremely difficult time in my life. Back then I felt to listen to the Book of Mormon and Conference talks while driving to work and there is no doubt in my mind that the Lord comforted me whenever I felt the spirit.

My heart is full of gratitude to the Lord for strengthening me spiritually and to the speakers at every General Conference for inviting the spirit through their words.
