After the block of marble is chipped into a form comes the fine finishing work of shaping, buffing and polishing. It’s all important – the chipping and the fine work – because both contribute to the beautiful end result. We tend to focus on the chipping into a form because it takes endurance but the fine work are the small details that refine. The hope is finishing strong.
