I pay honor to having trials. Not to trials themselves but to ‘having’ trials. Trials themselves are not fun; they are hard and I don’t like them. But I’m thankful for ‘having’ trials that teach me and that show me my character like patience, strength, faith, love, and kindness. Trials bring out my true character, and if one of my character traits is unsavory or weak I get to make it good and strong.
Without trials I’d stay the same and not grow. Each trial I’ve faced has improved me in some way, and for that I’m grateful, Regarding trials, the focus is on how it helps me not on how I don’t like it. Trials teach me perfect lessons. For example some trials teach me courage by having to be brave. Others teach me about love by experiencing unfairness. Yet others reinforce knowing the sweet by knowing the bitter, and the list goes on.
Everything in life has its opposite. The test is learning and eventually recognizing the good when experiencing the bad.
