I love uplifting messages. (When I listen for something uplifting I hear it.) To me, anyone can say something inspiring when I’m open to receiving it. “When the student is ready the teacher appears.” Today I was uplifted by three messages at church:

• When someone asks for my opinion but I don’t know what to say, frame their question and think of three other questions to help me answer.

• Step back from my current responsibilities and see the big picture. (Sometimes I’m too close to situations to have perspective.)

• Count my blessings and remember that life is good.
