Having the faith to move mountains for others is easy because I’d gladly help move mountains for them. Helping others is noble but so is increasing my own faith. The idea of having faith isn’t selfish by thinking of myself but is trusting by relying on the Lord and letting Him into my life to help me (as well help as others through me) because I’m important, too.
The Lord *wants* to help me overcome my challenges so I don’t feel alone.
Regarding faith, the following comes to my mind: “Put down your armor; your guard; your trying to be tough and in control and let the Lord into your heart to help you overcome your problems. Be honest. Don’t hide. He won’t condemn but encourage you, and your friendship will become very personal. He’ll help you overcome what bothers you so you can move forward in life. He wants the best for you. Rely on his strength to make you strong.“
