Last week I blogged about the abundance of blossoms in my backyard. Well, the next day our Oleander tree (in front of the palm tree) burst with a great amount of white blossoms!

On my ride today it seems like every plant I saw was in full bloom. I’ve never seen such a vast array of colorful cacti, plants, shrubs and trees in purple, yellow, pale yellow, bright yellow, gold, red, maroon, dark maroon, maroon & yellow, fuchsia, orange, orange-yellow, white, brown and various colors of green. Branches of the trees with green trunks were completely covered in yellow blossoms. Branches of the trees with brown trunks had new, green leaves. I loved seeing the beauty of this color-filled world on today’s ride! How can I not again quote this scripture?!

• “… the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly …” (Isaiah 35:1-2)
