I love that beginning in my youth I was taught to strive for perfection, that one day I’d receive all good things and to work toward getting the eternal. I love that my life has a purpose and second best isn’t good enough. Moroni said,
- “Come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness.”
I wholeheartedly believe his promise that,
- “If ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ.”
By the grace of God I can be made perfect when I:
- Come unto Christ.
- Deny myself of all ungodliness.
- Love God with all my might, mind and strength.
It’s not about attaining perfection but about being made perfect *in Christ*.
