I just woke up and don’t want to look at social media or anything today that sucks me into the drama of the continuing COVID-19 panic. I just want to live my life in peace amid the chaos surrounding me. Maybe the dramatic idea is, “I’m affected by the coronavirus outbreak, it’s so sad, don’t you feel sorry for me?!” When thinking about the COVID-19 hysteria this scripture comes to mind:
“And in that day shall be heard of wars and rumors of wars, and the whole earth shall be in commotion, and men’s hearts shall fail them.”
It seems like men’s hearts fail them during this outbreak when they are dramatic and afraid instead of courageous and strong. I say:
“Stop! Be calm! It’ll be okay! Be strong! Have courage! The best thing anyone can do right now is be calm and have common sense! Think of people on an airplane, and the plane has an emergency and they want to get out, and they calmly exit and don’t get hysterical! Come to yourself! Be smart! Be kind!“
