I love how plain Nephi, Alma, Mormon, Paul, Peter, Joseph Smith, Spencer W. Kimball, Bruce R. McConkie, Neal A. Maxwell and all other prophets are because I, too, don’t mince my words. Some people say they could be nicer but I appreciate their straightforwardness because I’m straightforward, too.
Some people say I’m too honest, but the only person I expose is myself. I appreciate the care for me but want to be transparent; having no skeletons in my closet and nothing to hide.
Some people say I’m super-mom and do too much but I know my capacity and give my all to everything I do. I don’t cut corners and I like routine. Maybe I’m boring and some might say I play it safe but I like to say that I focus on what I want, do all I can to get it and always succeed.
Some people might say I wear rose-colored glasses, am out of touch with reality, have a Pollyanna attitude and my head is in the clouds, but, in fact, I live above the metaphorical storm clouds and know blue skies and sunshine. I believe in good outcomes and therefore don’t dwell on drama. I choose what’s in my life and want to be happy so I invite happy things into my life and let sad things and unfairness go.
Some people call me a religious zealot, fanatical, old-school, and outdated and that’s fine, they can have their opinion. I don’t profess to change anyone but myself and won’t cower to bullies, but I will say what I think no matter if it’s liked or not; I’m not gonna lie so people will like me. I have standards and beliefs but just say my thoughts hoping they’ll be considered. Everyone is free to do what they want.
The fact is that I’m reliable, truthful and dependable. I don’t endeavor to be anything other than just me. I love all people and do my utmost to help them through my words. I may be considered extreme but I know profound peace and will share what I know with the hope that others will know it, too.
