Most people didn’t revere Jesus until He was dead; during His lifetime most people hated Him. Upon studying His life is when people revered Him. Studies revealed that: Jesus was sinless; Jesus’ disciples taught His words and those words were recorded and are called scripture; Prophets testified of Christ’s infinite Atonement and that made us love Him; Scripture scholars realized that many of the ancient prophecies referred to Jesus Christ; Modern revelation taught us that every prophet and many symbolisms referred to Christ. But these things weren’t realized until hundreds of years later.

The fact that Christianity still exists thousands of years later makes the gospel divine. Having the scriptures – that testify of Christ – makes their existence a miracle. If Jesus Christ was just an ordinary man He would have lived and died and been forgotten, but the fact that we worship Him today makes Him special. He is special; He is God-our Lord and Master and is who we emulate.
