Not Just Striving but Achieving

A friend once told me, “The ideal is what we strive for but it can’t ever be reached.”

Change of focus … because not only do I strive for what I want but know I *can* accomplish having it. I’m reminded of one of my favorite scenarios:

  • PERSON ONE: Don’t you know that a leopard can’t change its spots?
  • PERSON TWO: Don’t you know that people aren’t leopards and they change all the time?!!

Goals can be achieved. (Really? For sure? How do you know? They say.) I know because I’ve set and achieved many goals; and sometimes amidst the achievements were results that I didn’t think were possible.

I say, “Dare. Try. Keep going. Persevere and don’t give up. Believe and trust. You’ll never know unless taking the risk to find out. And when you do risk, the reward is sweet.”

It’s the law of sowing and reaping. First sow—do the work, and then reap—enjoy the fruits. Trust the unchangeable law.
