I love what I heard, “We live life looking forward but we learn from life looking back.” It’s so true! How many times have I seen the Lord’s hand guiding my life when looking back? Several times past experiences have taught me as I’ve thought about them.

There’s no way to remember some things unless details are written down. Many times in life I’ve re-read my words and thought oh yeah! and things have occurred to me that didn’t hit me when first writing them and right then I learned something.

Would I have learned from what was said if it wasn’t written down?
Would I have known details if they weren’t recorded?

I’m thankful to look back and learn from my life because I love to improve. I’m grateful my experiences teach me.  It’s my great hope that everyone will take the time to learn from their lives.
