I do what I can do. Why lament about what I can’t do? It won’t change anything except make me feel sad. So I go about my day, wanting in my heart to do more, but accepting that “it is what it is.”
Accepting that “it is what it is” is a tremendous perspective shift for me and one that has greatly improved my life! In times past, I felt bad whenever not doing something but now I don’t feel bad. I just know that “it is what it is” and it’s okay; and that I would if I could. <3
