My mood is up to me – no matter what. Sometimes life can be hard and the things I face can really get me down. My trials can bring me to sorrow and despair, but Eerk! Stop! Reality check!

Here’s me counseling myself in a positive way: “Everyone goes through hard times, not just me. It’s okay to feel somber but then I need to give myself a pep talk and feel good!” I just read my recent journal entry that was full of resolve and it made me see many good realizations that had come to me! I felt somber today but after reading of a time when I felt strong it boosted me!

Here’s my pep talk: “I can do it! I can be strong and face my trials and live in reality and look on the bright side and be happy. I don’t know the future – no one does – but I have faith that the future shall be great.“
