A friend said to me once, “I do not believe that the only people in heaven are Mormons.” I agree, because it’s not about being Mormon but about being a true follower of Jesus Christ. There are various faiths that make us who we are, but regardless of our differences we Christians are united in our belief in Jesus Christ.
President Nelson said two very important things:
- The Lord is gathering those who are willing to let God prevail in their lives.
- The Lord is gathering those who will choose to let God be the most important influence in their lives.
As Christians it’s easy to love the Lord with all our might, mind and strength. And, naturally, we are willing to let Him be the most important influence in our lives. The title’s invitation is for all who don’t. The Lord knows our hearts, thoughts and desires, and when we want Him in our lives He leads us to find Him. I say, “Trust and Believe.”
