I’m a pretty positive person. I don’t think bad thoughts or let myself get distracted by unfairness and become depressed, but with the COVID-19 pandemic greatly affecting my life I’m challenged with focusing on goodness because the ‘natural man’ in me wants to complain and dwell on the worst. I constantly have to snap myself back to goodness and tell myself, “I will not be defeated!”

My resolve, determination, persistence, positive attitude, strength, successful mindset, humor, spirituality, logic, courage and memorized words that encourage me, among other things, are my saving graces that support me. I rely on my good characteristics to carry me through hard times when I feel weak. I believe those characteristics are spiritual gifts the Lord has blessed me with and I thank Him for helping me make the most of life.
